Porque Jesús prometió volver, y Su novia debe estar preparada. El mundo grita por distracciones, pero el Espíritu y la Iglesia dicen: “Ven.” Oramos para ser como las vírgenes prudentes: con aceite, con fe, con los ojos puestos en lo eterno. Este clamor es por una Iglesia despierta, con expectativa santa, que no teme lo que viene, sino que anhela al que viene.
Señor, nos unimos como Casa de Oración con un clamor Maranatha: Ven, Señor Jesús. Prepáranos para Tu regreso. Haznos como las vírgenes prudentes—con lámparas encendidas, corazones listos y aceite cultivado en intimidad contigo. Despiértanos a los tiempos que estamos viviendo. No permitas que nos distraigamos o nos sacuda lo que vemos en el mundo, sino aumenta nuestra fe en lo que Tú estás haciendo detrás de escena. Pon la eternidad en nuestro corazón. Because Jesus promised to return—and His Bride must be ready. The world screams for distractions, but the Spirit and the Church say, “Come.” We pray to be like the wise virgins: with oil, with faith, with our eyes fixed on eternity. This cry is for a Church that is awake, filled with holy expectation—not fearing what’s coming, but longing for the One who is.
Lord, we come together as a House of Prayer with a Maranatha cry: Come, Lord Jesus. Prepare us for Your return. Make us like the wise virgins—lamps burning, hearts ready, oil cultivated through intimacy with You. Wake us up to the times we’re living in. Don’t let us be distracted or shaken by what we see in the world, but increase our faith in what You are doing behind the scenes. Set eternity in our hearts. Make us a people who wait well, long deeply, and live ready.
Matthew 25:3-4,8-10
'The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. 2 Peter 3:10-13
'But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. '
